A Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) is a type of equipment used to provide temporary access to high, otherwise inaccessible areas. MEWPs are commonly used in construction, maintenance, and other industries that require workers to perform tasks at height.

Key Characteristics of MEWPs:

• Mobility: MEWPs are designed to be moved easily from one location to another, either by being self-propelled or towable.
• Elevation: They are equipped with mechanisms such as scissor lifts, articulated (boom) lifts, or telescopic booms that allow the platform to be elevated to the desired height.
